THE WEDDING

I do not have an itinerary yet as these have to be finalised with the venue and vendors still.

What we do know is that because of heat we will not be starting until after 4pm. The party will continue into the AM so be prepared to dance into the next day.

We will update this box once we know more so stayed tuned!

In typical Spanish fashion the wedding venue is delayed in giving us the menus, but in March we will be doing a tasting to finalise the menu so we will update the website once we know more.

Please give us your dietary requirements when you RSVP!

DRESS CODE

As you might have guessed September is still a hot time in Spain.

The average temperatures being between 28C and 19C.

We want you all to be comfortable but still looking fabulous.

The Dress code is formal and we would love for our wedding to be colourful. Bring out that colourful dress or suit that you have been dreaming of wearing all year!

The Bridal party will be wearing Green so if you have options of colours, avoid green if possible. But if your favourite outfit is green then please wear it! As you may have guessed white is off the table...

The Grooms party will be in Stone coloured suits so again if you can avoid the colour, please do.

Airport

The closest airport to Cortijo Bravo is Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP). This is quite a big airport with lots of airlines flying from all over the UK to it.

Hire car

We highly recommend hiring a car for your visit to Spain. Public transport does exist but you will have to change at a few bus stops and eventually get a taxi to your accommodation. We have used Record Go, Firefly and Goldcar in the past.

You could get a taxi transfer from the airport of course, just bare in mind that the Wedding venue is in the countryside and nothing is in walking distance.

Accommodation

Cortijo Bravo only has 21 rooms but their sister hotel (16 minute drive) La Viñuela has 37 rooms. Of course you are more than welcome to stay wherever you would like. As some of you may know I love a good Airbnb and after a quick search there are many in the area to choose from. We want you to enjoy Malaga as much as we do every time we go back to visit!

If you are thinking of staying on before or after our Wedding we would recommend visiting Nerja for a charming coastal town, known for its beaches, shops and the famous Balcón de Europa.

Of course we can't forget about Málaga City, the birth place of Pablo Picasso, great for shopping, historic sites and gastronomy.

If you fancy splashing the cash Marbella needs no introduction, known for its glamorous atmosphere, luxury resorts and designer boutiques.
